Chuck Semarjian graduated from the University of Detroit Law School in 1981. Shortly after passing the Bar Exam, Chuck opened his first law office in Eastpointe where he worked as a sole practitioner specializing in juvenile law, probate law, Social Security, and entertainment law. In 1999, he left his private practice and began working as a Referee - Attorney in the Macomb County Circuit Court - Juvenile Division. As a Juvenile Court Referee, Chuck conducted trials in both neglect and delinquency matters. Chuck moved to the Macomb County Probate Court and became one of the Court Attorneys for the court in 2003. He worked at the probate court for 19 years. During this time, Chuck handled all matters relating to probate court including the decedent's estates, trusts, and guardianship/conservatorship for both adults and minors. He was also the court's law librarian and Alternative Dispute Resolution Clerk for the court and managed the Case Evaluation docket. Chuck is a lifelong resident of the Detroit area. He also enjoys family time with his wife, Marie, and his son, Chuck. His hobbies include playing the guitar and boating.
